About CS-Keys, Inc.

CS-Keys, Inc. is a private, Indianapolis-based biotechnology company focused on the discovery and development of 3rd generation cancer-associated biomarkers using proteomics. These biomarkers may be used to create products to enhance the diagnosis and treatment of patients with cancer.

CS-Keys was founded in early 2006 to develop and commercialize products based on the founders research and licensed from Indiana University.

Founders & Management

Linda Malkas   Linda H. Malkas, Ph.D. - Founder
Dr. Malkas holds the Vera Bradley Chair for Oncology and is a Professor of Medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Malkas is internationally recognized for her research on the molecular biology of breast cancer. Her fundamental vision defining the Synthesome and using it for cancer detection is the foundation of CS-Keys.
Robert Hickey   Robert J. Hickey, Ph.D. - Founder
Dr. Hickey is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine. He is member of the breast cancer program, and is well known in the field of ovarian cancer research. Dr. Hickey brings expertise in the areas of small compound research, therapeutics and ELISA research.
Lauren Schnaper  

Lauren Schnaper, M.D. - Founder
Dr. Schnaper is the Chief Medical Officer and the Director of the Sandra and Malcolm Berman Comprehensive Breast Cancer Center at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center, and is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Dr. Schnaper has been designated as one of the best doctors in America by American Health Magazine in 1996.

Robert J. Feeney, Ph.D. - President and CEO
Dr. Feeney brings over 20 years of sales, marketing, business development and research experience in oncology diagnostics and pharmaceuticals to CS-Keys. Prior to joining the company, Dr. Feeney performed a variety of leadership roles for NeoGenomics Laboratories, US Labs, (now a division of LabCorp), Eli Lilly and Impath Inc. (now Genzyme Genetics). Dr. Feeney received a BS degree in Biology from Dickinson College, his Ph.D. degree in Cellular and Developmental Biology from Stony Brook University, and also completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Glaxo Inc. (now GlaxoSmithKline).
